With sixteen years of experience, John prides himself on making your financial needs his own. He believes it is important to get to know each client personally to help them reach their financial goals as quickly as possible. He strives to provide them with financial advice, while illustrating numerous investment options.

John Murray earned his bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  In 2010 John completed The Institute of Business and Finance’s MBA program and currently holds that degree along with his Master of Science in Financial Service (MSFS). He is board Certified in Mutual Funds (BCM), Asset Allocation (BCAA), and Securities (BCS). He is a Certified Fund Specialist (CFS), Annuity Specialist (CAS), and Senior Consultant (CIS). Through the American College John has earned the Charted Financial Consultant designation (ChFC).

Before starting MR Financial Group Inc, John worked as a registered financial representative at Allmerica Financial from 1994- 2003.

John and his wife Rohini currently reside in Ingomar, Pennsylvania with their two children.  In his free time, John enjoys coaching youth baseball, playing basketball, and watching Pittsburgh sports teams.
